20th ranked SLU (13-3-2) defeated the University of Louisville (9-11-2) 3-1 at Hermann Stadium before a crowd of 1,054 on a cold Friday evening. The victory pits the Billikens in the C-USA finals against University of Cincinnati (11-7-2), which defeated the No. 1 seed Marquette University (10-8-1) on penalty kicks after a 1-1 regular play and overtime tie.
