| SIUC hosted the 2000 Saluki Invitational at Hickory Ridge Golf Course in Carbondale, IL on 26-27 March 2000. A warm and calm 1st round was followed by a much cooler and very windy 2nd round. The University of Wisconsin placed 1st with a total 623, followed by the University of Michigan (631) and Southwest Missouri State University (633). The host Salukis were able to move up from ninth place to finish in 4th place (648). |

Saluki sophomore Alison Hiller (Atlanta, GA) finished 13th with a score of 159 (+15) to lead the team to its 4th place finish. Other Saluki finishes were Andrea Walker (164, 24th), Andrea Turner (165, 25th), Jennifer Shutt (165, 25th), Elizabeth Uthoff (165, 25th), Ashley Welch (181, 72nd) and Kendra Hood (181, 72nd). |
