| SIUC (2-2) won an easy game against visiting University of Illinois-Chicago (3-2) before ~150 fans in the SIU arena. The Salukis led early and never looked back, building a comfortable 32-15 halftime lead. An easy 62-46 home victory allowed many of the new freshman significant playing minutes. |
