University of Cincinnati at Saint Louis University 5 February 2000
Saint Louis University (9-12, 2-8) lost a tough C-USA match against University of Cincinnati (11-9, 5-5) in the Bauman-Eberhardt Athletic Center (~826 paid attendance). The Billikens led by one (28-27) at the half but began the second half with cold shooting and soon trailed by 10 points. Pressure defense and rebounding frustrated Cincinnati and the Billikens found themselves tied at 10:10 in the second half. After a 3-pt basket by the Bearcats, both teams went scoreless until SLU's April Mckinney sank a free throw at the 3:07 mark. The score remained close, but several key misses at the charity line by SLU resulted in a slim 54-55 loss to the visitors.

Cincinnati senior guard Madinah Slaise (12) pumped in 15 points in 30 minutes of action.

Billiken junior center Bridget Beckmann (52) led the team with 15 points and 8 rebounds, many against Bearcats freshman center Candice Holley (23), who contributed 11 points.

Billiken senior guard Kara Wile (10) scored 6 points, gave out 6 assists, but turned over the ball 6 times.

Bearcat senior guard Candice Roberson (33) shared game-high scoring honors with 15 points and 5 asssists.

SLU freshman Melissa Oliver (23) scored 10 points and assisted 3 times in her 21 minutes of action.
