SIUC (4-5) easily handled Southeast Missouri State University (7-3) with a 70-49 victory at the TWA Dome in front of an estimated 2,000 total fans from both universities. (This regular season game doubled as a dress rehearsal for TWA Dome management in hosting NCAA regional play.) The Salukis demonstrated fine inside play, took advantage of the Indians' defensive lapses, and shot well from the outside.
