SLU Billikens (8-20, 5-10) won their last C-USA home game, 70-61, over the University of Memphis Tigers (1613, 9-6) at the Savvis Center (reported inflated attendance, 8,172). On their way towards a spot in the conference tournament, the Billikens used their two big men more effectively, resulting in a 28-19 halftime lead. SLU was led by senior forward Izik Ohanon (26 pts, 10 rebounds), sophomore center Ian Vouyoukas (13 pts, 7 rebounds), and freshman guard Danny Brown (10 pts). The Billikens shot 44% from the field (25% from 3-pt range) and 67% from the charity line. The Tigers were led by junior forward Rodney Carney (19 pts, 6 rebounds), senior guard Anthony Rice (16 pts), and freshman guard Darius Washington (12 pts). Memphis shot 35% from the field (31% from 3-pt range) and 67% from the charity line. SLU had 41 rebounds (10O, 31D), 12 assists, 8 steals, 2 blocked shots, and 15 turnovers as compared with 36 rebounds (13O, 23D), 7 assists, 6 steals, 3 blocked shots, and 15 turnovers by Memphis.

SLU senior forward Izik Ohanon (30) scored a game-high 26 points to go with 10 rebounds, while sophomore center Ian Vouyoukas (15) contributed 13 points and 7 rebounds.
