SLU (15-11, 8-7) was out-played and out-scored 75-48 by the visiting #25/23 University of Louisville Cardinals (19-7, 9-6) at the Savvis Center (reported attendance, 11,020). Louisville shot 45% from the field (26% from 3-pt range) and 81% from the charity line. SLU had 26 rebounds (5O, 21D), 10 assists, 4 steals, and 20 turnovers as compared with 36 rebounds (11O, 25D), 15 assists, 11 steals, and 9 turnovers by Louisville.

Billikens junior guard Reggie Bryant (21) was ineffective during the first half but managed to regroup and score 15 points for the Billikens. Bryant also had 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, and 6 turnovers.


Billikens junior forward Izik Ohanon (30) scored only 4 points in the game. He was matched against Louisville senior center Kendall Dartez (1) who had 12 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists.
