SLU (14-11, 5-9) dropped their final home game of the season to the University of Cincinnati (19-7, 9-6) in the Bauman-Eberhardt Athletic Center (862 reported attendance). The Billikens led by as many as 12 points in the first half, taking a 39-31 lead into the locker room. The Bearcats shot 58% from the floor during the second half and came away with a close 70-67 victory.


Cincinnati junior center Tammy Douglas (52) led all scorers with 25 points and collected 8 rebounds.


Bearcats freshman guard Valerie King (34) scored 19 points, shooting 11-11 from the free-throw line.

Billiken senior center April McKinney (42) scored 12 points and collected 4 rebounds.

Billiken sophomore guard Star King (25) scored 14 points and had 3 assists.

SLU sophomore guard Christan Shelton (14) scored 14 points and collected 4 rebounds.
